Now With Puzzles & Working Blog Archives

When I decided to start building this website, I knew that I wanted to have my blog posts on here too.

But even having posted over two months worth of blog posts, there were things I desperately wanted to fix.

  • The blog archives had an inconsistency in how different blog posts appeared (thanks to me not quite understanding the formatting options).
  • There was no sidebar, so there was no way to search for older blog posts.

The Archives Are Fixed!!!

But Now They're Fixed!

If you’re reading this post on the website, you should be able to spot the new sidebar, with the category and tag links. It took several long hours of experimentation, some very choice words, a notepad, and several missed shots at the trash can.

But I figured out some very important things about formatting the site, and the blog posts, in the process.

So, feel free to click around, and let me know (in the comments) if you spot any weirdness.

Now With Added Jigsaw Puzzles!

This second piece of news is the one I’m really excited about, however…

A fellow author friend of mine discovered a site that allows members to turn pictures into online jigsaw puzzles. And I just had to take advantage of the site to provide a litte extra fun on this site.

I’ve gone ahead and created some puzzles from my book cover images, and I’ll probably create more as time and available pictures allow.

Each of the puzzles I’ve created so far are 96 pieces, so shouldn’t take too long to complete.

Once you’ve completed a puzzle, let me know what you thought about it in the comments. I’m also interested to see how long it’s taking people to finish them.
