Meet The Team Behind #OWSCyCon2019
OWSCyCon 2019 is just weeks away, and as the head of the team putting it all together, I want to introduce you to some of the other team members.
Each member of the team has their own genre to manage, and many have taken on additional roles.
So without further ado, here are the first four team members.
Please take some time to check out each of the authors, and their work. They’re all working very hard to make OWSCyCon 2019 THE online book event of the year
- URBAN FANTASY GENRE MANAGER
Sarah has been writing for more than 25 years, starting with poetry before moving on to non-fiction and fiction. She lives in the Midwest with two monsters (the kids), an ogre (the hubby), and whatever drama-llama is coming to visit this week. Sarah is the author of the Runespells series: Too Wyrd, Fluffy Bunny, and The Chains That Bind. She has short stories in several anthologies, including Counterclockwise: A Time Travel Anthology, A Twist of Fate: A Collection of 11 Twisted Fairy Tales, and Whispers of Hope: A Lexis Infinitum Charity Anthology. Sarah also has a blog via Patreon and makes funny videos about writing on her vlog, Practically Writing.
- SCIENCE FICTION GENRE MANAGER
Phoebe Darqueling is the pen name of a globe trotting vagabond who currently hangs her hat in Freiburg, Germany.
In her “real life” she writes curriculum for a creativity competition for kids in MN. She loves all things Steampunk and writes about her obsession on her website. She’s been part of several Collaborative Writing Challenge releases, and you can also find her short horror retelling of Pinocchio in The Queen of Clocks and Other Steampunk Tales. Her first novels, Riftmaker and No Rest for the Wicked, are hitting shelves Spring 2019.
A. F. Stewart
- HORROR/ THRILLER GENRE MANAGER
A steadfast and proud sci-fi and fantasy geek, A. F. Stewart was born and raised in Nova Scotia, Canada and still calls it home.
The youngest in a family of seven children, she always had an overly creative mind and an active imagination. She favours the dark and deadly when writing—her genres of choice being fantasy and horror—but she has been known to venture into the light on occasion.
As an indie author she’s published novels, novellas and story collections, with a few side trips into poetry.
- CHIEF TECHNICAL OFFICER OF OWS CYCON
- HISTORICAL FICTION GENRE MANAGER
Richard White is an author of many genres. He dabbles in Western Fiction, Crime Fiction, Espionage, Historical Fiction, Poetry, and Urban Fantasy. 2019, he plans to share his books in two ways, traditional, and mainstream them on his patreon page.
This has been just the first part of the introduction to the OWSCyCon team.
I hope to bring you the rest of the team in the very near future…
