We're Celebrating 100 Posts

Today I’m celebrating 100 posts in under 8 months. It’s surprising just how easily this number crept up on me.

It’s an honor to have brought you some of the best in independent books and authors, and know so many are reading my work.

Today, I want to take the opportunity to thank you all for an amazing 8 months. I read every comment posted, and tried to reply where possible.

So, I’m going to share my 5 favorite posts, some exciting news, and an opportunity to get a free review copy of “Under A Hunter’s Moon”.

Celebrating My Top-5 Posts

Let’s start this celebration by sharing my 5 favorite posts.

It would have been easy to pick the 5 top posts in terms of views, or comments, but it wouldn’t have been a great cross-section of all the posts.

So, here’s five posts (in no particular order), which I think represent some of the best content so far.

And Now For The Big News...

Some of you might remember that OWSCyCon 2019 teamed up with the admins over at the Fantasy & Sci-Fi Readers Lounge (FSFRL) back in May.

Well, they’ve been kind enough to roll out the Story Time recordings as part of their recent schedule, and readers have been loving it.

In fact the recordings have proved so popular two things are happening:

  • I’m joining the team at FSFRL as the moderator in charge of posting the Story Time recordings.
  • Slots will be opening up in the near future for authors to request Story Time recordings of their own. This will be a service I’ll have to charge for, unlike my book and author spotlights, since they take longer to produce.

Help Me Turn A Dream Into A Reality

I’ve set myself the goal of putting together a collected edition of all five “Shadows Over Seattle: Prequel” stories.

Three of these stories are already available individually. Two more are available in the “Book Dreams” anthologies.

But it’s time to bring them all together in one book, and you can help make it a reality.

Ko-fi allows creators like me to receive money from fans of their work. Anyone can support that work with a small payment that is roughly equal to the price of a coffee (just look for the coffee cups around the site).

Each ‘coffee’ will bring me one step closer to the goal of hiring a cover artist for the project. I’ve love to raise enough to consider both ebook and print editions.

Under A Hunters Moon - Tablet

To celebrate 100 blog posts I’ve made 20 copies of “Under A Hunter’s Moon” available for FREE download on BookSprout.

BookSprout lets authors upload copies of their books for readers to download and review. It allows readers to get books before they hit the stores, and allows authors give away books for review.

If you download a copy, I would love to see what you thought of it.

BookSprout allows you to leave reviews right on their site, but there are ONLY 20 COPIES available, so you’ll have to hurry.
