- Blood of Morgana -
(Ruby Morgan Book 6)
WAR IS BREWING IN THE STREETS OF LONDON …
With the election coming up, I find myself in the heart of the storm between the fractions.
When a political attack sends my friend Nick to the hospital, it spurs a chain of events I have no control over.
My powers feel useless in the face of this storm. Friends turn to enemies, and someone has to stop the bloodshed. For some reason, I think that someone is me.
NOT EVEN THE BLOOD OF MORGANA CAN HELP ME NOW.
"Blood of Morgana" Reviewed
This book just upped the stakes big time!
I received this book as part of an ARC program, and the writing team of LJ Rivers doesn’t disappoint.
I’m going to open by saying that I have loved every book in this series so far, but this one really kicks the plot and the stakes into a whole new gear.
The story picks up right after the end of the last book, and the opening scene is simply magical. And that magic continues throughout the book. This is by far the best-written book in the series to date.
We finally move right into the heart of the city of London, and I immediately felt at home, thanks to the vivid descriptions provided by the authors. Having grown up on the outskirts of the city, I spent a lot of time in some of the areas visited in this book, and the authors brought back some wonderful memories.
There are some amazing highlights to the story, as the characters continue to develop in new and surprising ways while having to deal with escalating problems. From navigating the ever-changing political landscape to having to manage relationships, the characters go through a lot, and none of them come out of it unchanged.
