I’m an urban fantasy writer with a passion for falconry, and great stories.

I’ve been writing urban fantasy short stories since 2004, and am the co-creator of the “Shadows Over Seattle” world. There are currently five completed short stories, one in the process of being written, and three planned novels in various stages of development.

When I’m not writing, you’ll find me reading, working on Metal Earth & U-Gears model kits, taking every opportunity I can to handle & fly birds of prey, or supporting fellow indie authors.

“Under A Hunter’s Moon (Shadows Over Seattle: Prequels #1)” was first released in 2014, and it still surprises me, just how well received it was.

This book was a very short one, but very intense. The actions, the feelings they’re all coming in waves and waves, making you feel like you are Richard and you’re living what he’s experiencing. The way things are described is so surreal. When I ended the book, it definitely left me in awe, because once you reach the 3rd chapter things make sense and you want more of that story.

I enjoy the author’s twist on the old werewolf lore, creating a whole new version and calling them Lupines, to allow him to break the rules of the legends without really breaking things if you know what I mean.

This is a great teaser to the main character, his motivations, and his drive. Jump on in and then go yell at the author to hurry up and finish the book, just like I’m doing!

This is a great short story and my first introduction to Timothy Bateson’s writing. I have a soft spot for paranormal and shifters, and although it is a short prequel this delivers the emotional drama and struggles of a much wider story. I want to read more!

This is a short,quick prequel to the Shadows Over Seattle series. The author brings a twist to the story giving it a new look on an old tale. He teases you with all the action and suspense and leaves you anticipating the next boo. I enjoyed and am looking forward to this series.
